Ep: 32 Get Out and Volunteer!

Do you volunteer? There are so many ways to do it in our military community and so many reasons why from helping with animals, children, the community you are living in currently, or even with your spouse's unit. You are needed, and your help is valued! On today's episode, I talk to Marla Bautista, an avid volunteer, about how to do it and the benefits for everyone.

Marla Bautista is a published author of My Thoughts Abandoned, released in January 2017. She is a freelance writer and blogger. Marla is also the Co-Founder of The Bautista Project, a custom décor and apparel company, which uses a percentage of their profits to provide for homeless communities. She was recently named Armed Forces Insurance 2018 Military Spouse of the Year Base Level Winner for Fort Drum. Marla is an all-around generous woman who thrives on the happiness of her local community. She has volunteered within the U.S. Army community since 2008.
