Ep: 54 Transition from Active Duty to Reserves & Back Again

I'm continuing to talk about transitioning from service by getting the perspective of a female service member who found that transitioning from active duty to the reserves and going back to active duty worked for her for a time in her life. Transition from service never looks the same for everyone, but we do talk about some things a service member can do to help themselves and others.

Mandy Snell is the managing director of Reboot Strategy. She is a Project Manager who loves helping business owners get the right things done, so they have time to do the things they actually want to do. A United States Naval Academy graduate, Mandy started her naval career leading 100+ person teams, managing ship operational and maintenance scheduling. She then transitioned into the Intelligence community as a Reservist, where she spent over a decade helping seasoned military leaders assess their operating environment. She really found her niche as a Reservist, implementing new programs by reorganizing existing teams. Mandy now focuses on helping small business owners use their unique qualities to develop and refine their own best practices. She excels at teaching others how to build and retain high-performance teams and particularly enjoys mentoring women in male-dominated industries. As a veteran and military spouse, she also has a soft spot for helping military members and spouses make successful transitions as they leave the service.
